Administration of Business Objects 3.1 Voyager and SSAS 2000

On the Business Objects Server box, install the SQL Server 2005 Client tools. Once you do this and reboot the server, you will see the "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Analysis Services 9.0" which corresponds to SQL Server 2005 OLAP Engine.

For SQL Server 2000, install the SQL Server client tools on the BOXI server and you would see "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for OLAP Services 8.0". We have both links working with Voyager in our company. Hope this helps.
